Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Your Season 2 Bingo Cards — With Some Positive Updates

The much-anticipated second season of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video soon, and fan speculation has been rampant.

The first season presents a large cast of characters residing in Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds accompanied by musical numbers about their clashes, and establishes tense rivalries and angsty, affectionate connections that fuel audience devotion.

The fandom's stated hopes for season 2 vary widely, but certain themes emerge over and over: Will Angel Dust escape his tormentor? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" affecting the enigmatic Alastor? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the creator commented recently. "However I feel like me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I want some of these things to occur, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She says her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have already been green-lit by the production companies, which finance the series.

That might mean fans have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast the new season moves, and how much of what they're anticipating unfolds now.

"I believe people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we get some really amazing disclosures, some really cool backstories, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about season 2 — especially in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've seen a few fans make a prediction grid about season 2," she mentions. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've actually done a few items, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on Prime Video on Oct. 29.
